Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
Tulip on tap at Beer Deluxe, Melbourne. Hazy amber beer with a few streams of bubbles ascending. Thin creamy white head. Good lacing. Nose has dough, yeast, star anise, pepper, random fruits. Zingy in the mouth. Taste is earthy and bitter leading to dark fermented fruit and liquorice. Dry finish completes it. Wonderful and complex.

Taster at GABS Auckland 2017. Pale. Peach, bread, cherry, little acidity. Nothing wrong with it, just a bit dull.
