0,5l bottle (12,6%; n˚111 from 3456, bottled 2021, BBF: 2031) from Kaffee Bazaar webshop. F: no real. C: dark brown, hazy, opaque. A: rich malty, woody, whisky, nutty, chocolate, cocoa, porto wine, toffee, bit vanilla, raisins. T: full malty base, caramel, toffee, porto wine, nutty, whisky, woody, bit warming alcohol, vanilla, soft carbonation, very nice complex beer, fully enjoyed.

Kereru Paloma BA Barleywine 14.3% Deep ruddy brown with a huge gig & stone fruit aroma. Lots of bourbon caramel sweetness. Medium bodied finishing quite dry with a sharp bitter finish after a huge woodsy barrel seeet caramel fudge start. Nice stuff with good heat.

GABS Auckland 2018. Pours deep red brown. Caramel, toffee, bit of peat smoke, orange peel, so much caramel, lots of whisky but not that much booze heat. Good oily body. Very impressive.
