Bottle at home, big thanks to sjogro for donating the bottle! Clear pale straw/green with no head to speak of. Dry green apple, light lemon, aromatic herbs like lemon balm, 🥝, lime, tangerine. It’s fruity in a ‘green’ way, with plenty of green apple and star fruit, soft pear and winegums. Almost medium sour, light bitter and even though there’s sweet aromas the actual taste has almost no sweetness. Over light bodied with very dry finish. It’s not bad, but quite unusual and reminds me of some New Zealand ciders I’ve had.

Bottle at home, picked up at the source! Clear pale straw with no head. Smells peachy and soapy floral blossom. Taste is light applejuice and actually a bit more like white wine, a touch of soft peachiness, and a hint of very mild mustard. Supple mouthfeel but quite dry on the tongue. Moderate sweet, quite bitter with light sour edges. Medium body and soft carbonation. Very different from other (Dutch) ciders I’ve tried so far. Interesting. Hope the friendly family Bruynzeel will continue to make cider from their beautiful orchards at their lovely location Landwinkel De Plantage.
