Crowler from the brewery via delivery, 5/3/20. Hazy darker orange color, beige head. Nice rye spice over citrus / lemon and pine hops. Hint of grass and some earth comes through as well. Finishes a little peppery. Pretty nice overall.

Ever so slightly hazy amber and copper coloured body with a rather large, four to five centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of rye (of course), grain, light yeast, bread, a dose of peated malt and a touch of light hops without much alpha acids. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive effervescence with a large kick of bitterness from the grain and malt elements, with a dry and almost grassy flavour that shows some bitterness, but those are more of malt characteristics than from any hops, which are barely recognisable, and a super-small amount of sweetness comes through at the finish as well. Aftertaste shows some very dry and pungent herbal characteristics, but the malt and grain show through and dominate with no real sweetness or complexity - just pure malts and dryness to couple with the specialty grains and light bitterness. Overall, a nice enough lager with a bunch of malt, grain and herbal characteristics with a dry quality and some light yeast/bready notes as well. Decent to try, but not particualarly noteworthy or worth going after. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 21-November-2018 for US$3,49 sampled at home in Washington on 22-December-2019.

Extremely cloudy (murky) mustard gold color topped by a large rocky white head. Subdued, grainy sweet malt nose. Tart, doughy rye malt flavor. Bready, nutty, grainy, earthy and lemony. Slightly acidic with citrus hops. Earthy, yeasty notes and resin hops in finish. 7%ABV is well hidden.
