Golden pour with a small white head; mainly grain and malt - quite watery. Not a fan, tbh.

On tap at Moose in Te Anau. Pours a good gold brown. Sweet, syrup, sharp, biscuit, stonefruit, bit of stewed vegetables. Slightly harsh body. Not good. Not truly terrible.

Bottle in Auckland. Backlog rating from bottle collection and historic scoring. No tasting notes kept, just rating.

330ml bottle into (plastic) glass at Christchurch airport. Faint fruit smell, amber beer with thin film of scum on top. Lots of small bubbles. Laces well. Cloyingly sweet malt dominates with a little touch of fruity hop near the end before the sweet doughnut returns. 1000 better NZ beers available.

Piwo w kolorze przypomina racsej amber niz gold. No ale niewazne. Piana srednia i nawet puszysta. Wytrawne i nieco karmelowe. Dosc wyrazny smak toffi. Jesli jest to lager to jakby nieco uszlachetniony. Mi pasowalo.

Draft. A golden beer with a thin lazing white head. The aroma has notes of malt combined with a lighter note of straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and matl, leading to a dry and bitter finish. Boring.

Half pint served chilled from tap at the Southerner, Temple. Crystal clear, golden body with a short lived, white head. Grass-malty aroma. Malty sweetness in flavour and little else. Rather dry in the mouth. Some refreshments (London, 01.08.2009).
