From tap at Big aLICe Brewing, New York. Big rauch aroma with smoked bacon, roasted malt, some chocolate and coffee. Nicely smoked. Mild to medium sweet, moderate roasty bitterness. Medium body. Quite a tasty Smoked Porter.

On tap at Big Alice, Brooklyn. Black with beige head. Roasted malts, some chocolate, some coffee, smoke, smooth texture. Tad thin for the abv. Medium- bodied.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black. Smoke, bacon, little chocolate, BBQ. Medium body. Fine.

Draught @ the barrel room. Opaque dark brown with beige creamy head, coffee-roasted malt aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter lightly smoky coffee-roasted malt taste, smooth thin body, long medium bitter finish. Good brew, not heavily smoky.

At the barrel room: pours black woth a beige head. Aroma is smokey, wood and chocolate. Taste is smokey, chocolate, some wood. Pretty good.

Tap at brewpub. Dark brown colour, small beige head. Smoked, toasted aroma. Medium-bodied. Toasted malty with smokeyness, crisp, light bitterness. Feels a bit lighter than its abv. Okish.
