Voor Collab #7 gaan we niet alleen voor grondstoffen uit de streek maar ook voor een samenwerking met van de streek. De klassieke ondergistende pilsgist van gulpener is hier undercover gegaan. Als een bovengistend bier op een stomige temperatuur van 18 graden. Een echt California Steam Beer. Op Stoom is een ode aan de zon met frisse tonen van limoen en citrusvruchten. Uitgesproken vanwege het grassige en volmoutige karakter.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is fruity with citrus, lime, pale malt, fruit peel, and hoppy notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Pleasant, nicely fruity, easy drink.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Starts fine malty, spicy, grainy-wheaty background. Mild bitterness. Finish well balanced. Not bad.

Bottle from Roermond. Mild sweetish beginning. Easy to drink, moderate bitter with a slightly grainy back. Bitter grainy finish. Nice.

30cl bottle. A clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of dry grassy hops, pale malt. Taste of mild sweet grainy malt, citrus hops, grassy hops. Moderate bitterness.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een goudgeel bier met volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een fruitige wat citrus achtige geur. De smaak is moutig, citrus en hoppig.

@ A Gen Kirk, Vijlen. Hazy amber colour, white foam. Very refreshing, lots of lemon and tropical fruit. Taste is refreshing, fruity, bitter finish. Nice one!
