Freaky Friday with @jwakefieldbrewing Our first fruited Freaky Friday had to be with our friends at J. Wakefield. Cheers to them for letting us take a crack at their classic berliner with dragon fruit and passion fruit. A description from the Wakefield crew: Our world famous Dragon Fruit Passion Fruit Florida Weisse. Rated #1 Berliner Weisse in the World by Ratebeer.com and takes the #2 spot in the World by BeerAdvocate.com.

Can thanks to William. Pours a bright ruby with small pinkish head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is dragon fruit, cherry, dough, wheat. Slick body, passionfruit, dragonfruit, cherry, wheat, light tartness, doughy finish, very good.

Can, courtesy of mansquito. Pours deep red with a pink head. Passionfruit, dragonfruit, decent sharpness, very passionfruity which brings more tartness, super clean finish. Light spritzy body. Excellent.

Man, I had high hopes for other half doing this better but I guess the berliner game is more complex than I expected. It's lighter, water finish, medium nose in comparison.

Pretty spot on to the original. Maybe slightly less fruity? Overall it's pretty similar to what I remember.
