Bottle from Beautiful Beers, Bury St E. Aroma is boozy with underlying nuts, dark fruit and dough. Opaque dark brown. Foamy off-white head, develops a bald spot. Sweet. Pleasantly so. Like a cherry gateaux. Nutty doughy edge. The booze so evident in the aroma is more restrained now but provides an edge. Heavy bodied. Oily. Creamy. Croily. Flat-average carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Lovely warming. Not normly a fan of what I'd term as overly sweet beers but this works. Pudding.

Can at share: pours clear brown beige head. Aroma is toffee, vanilla, rum, brown sugar. Taste is large and a little harsh. Low bitterness. A bit much. Still solid.
