One of Jack's first Ocelot recipes, Gorgeous & Alone was reverse engineered to bring the je ne sais quoi of our annual triple IPA Talking Backwards to a more crushable package. Similar malt character, same hops, all at an approachable 7%.
We brew Gorgeous & Alone with pilsen malt and just enough English pale malt to evoke the color of its big brother. The beer is then hopped with the Pacific Northwest’s holy trinity — Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe — for that classic bouquet of citrus, berry, passion fruit, and pine.
We hope this IPA brings you some joy — wherever you go, wherever you land.

Nice berry flavor, tad piney. Very easy drinking. Guess that’s due to the Pilsner malt. Enjoyable on a hot day.
Quite the Groß performance from Man U at the Theatre of Dreams.
Thanks Bri!

Lots of nice citrus and orange. A little astringent peel but this is nice all around. Hazy yellow pour with good head and lacing. Decent body, bit finish is still light hop tang. Tap at Shelter.

Draft pour at Ocelot. Poured a mostly clear amber color, slight haze, or is that just condensation on the glass? Aroma was lots of hop pedals, light resin. Slightly juicy. Touch of tropical fruit, some resin in the finish.

Growler from the brewery pours a ruby amber with some fluffy, white head. Nose has orange, red grapefruit, soap, pine, mango, guava. Flavor follows with some ripe fruits, mango, guava, even some apple, dank here too, grassy, herbal, pine. Finishes bitter, medium bodied.
