Bottle shared at the Columbus tasting 17/04/2019. Many thanks! A sticky dark brown coloured pour with a fine dark tan head. Aroma is solvent burnt cake ends, dried fruits, alcohol, cinnamon, vanilla. Flavour is composed of super thick, chewy brown caramel, toffee, cakey malts, burnt cake, chewy. Palate is super thick, moderate carboantion, chewy, . Fun. Cough syrup.

29/4/2019. Bottle, sample, courtesy of saxo. Pours thick almost black with no head. Aroma of dark chocolate, raw cocoa beans, spiced and laced fruit cake, light chilli, coffee, hint of coconut husk and roasted malt. Heavy sweetness and bitterness. Full bodied, thick syrupy texture, minimal carbonation. Warming alcohol spiced cake finish, with a little lasting chilli warmth. A bit of a wow moment this one.

Bottle shared at Definitely Not Another Potjepalooza. Black with no head. Aroma of cinnamon, coconut, pepper, chocolate and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with a thick syrupy texture, chilli and alcohol warmth in the finish and very soft carbonation.

Potjepalooza is such a fun word. Bottle With skull on top. Hard to open. Just a small sample glass. Black with no head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts. Massive cinnamon, anise and chipotle. Deep roasted and boozy. Massive sweet and bitter, light spicy. Full body and soft carbonation.
