Small bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is roasted malt with cinnamon, alcohol, chili peppers, chocolate, some coffee, cocoa nibs. Flavour is sweet and boozy with a roasty bitterness, warming alcohol. Body is full and very thick, like syrup. Obviously this lacks the balance and drinkability of the superior base beer (less is more), but I found it surprisingly tasty.

Bottle, 250 ml courtesy of kajser27. Shared with him, Max and MiroB. Black with almost no head. Heavy oiliness, chocolate, alcohol, bourbon, barely drinkable. Yucky saltiness.

0.25 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', cellared for almost two years. Pitch black, no head at all. Intensely sweetish-malty, gently roasty, quite spicy aroma of praline, cinnamon, coffee, hazelnut, some vanila and a touch of licorice. Fairly sweet, malty, quite roasty, rather spicy taste of dark chocolate, hard roasted coffee, licorice, cinnamon, some hazelnut and a touch of vanilla, followed by a long, rather roasty-bitter, gently peppery-spicy, fairly earthy, just slightly boozy finish. Full body, smooth and oily mouthfeel, flat. Superb stuff, extremely intense and deep, hardly boozy. Really good!

Bottle (with a skull for a cap) split at L6 at the Tipple's had tasting, thanks to Kenny, 17/04/19. Pitch black with a dirty tan head that escapes edgeward. Nose is boozey, rich dark fruit rinds, spice, leather, toffee. Taste comprises menthol notes, booze, aniseed, dried fruits, leather, charr, earthy, spice. Full bodied, boosty rising heat but tempered well enough. Not bad ... sips easy for 18% but doubt I'd be bothered drinking it again.
