Can pour at the DCBeer December 2025 share. Poured a nearly pitch black color, perhaps more of a cola color than anything else. Thin tan head. Aroma was bourbon soaked malts, some umami, a bit aged more than the 2021 version, which is a bit odd - maybe how it was stored? Smooth, with some light boozy heat still on this one.

Big ass bourbon barreled stout. Roast and lots of booze. Syrupy texture. Boozy and light bitter finish. Roast is pretty hidden. Not my thing. Expensive too. Tap at Shelter.

Can, courtesy of nimbleprop. Pours black. Bourbon, chocolate, tobacco, vanilla, dried fruit. Thick chewy body. Good.

16oz can from the brewery, pours a murky, coffee black, with some sticky tan head and medium legs. Nose is good, malt, caramel, whiskey, toffee, Kahlua, some cola. Flavor has more and is better, cola, coffee, Kahlua, toffee, malt, black licorice, plenty of barrel, caramel, toasted wood, toasted coconut, some grassiness. Finishes full bodied and sticky, but damn it drinks easier than 15%.
