We love language and delving into the meaning of words here at the brewery. Our resident 18th Century dandy Arron used “farrago” in an email when describing the current global climate and we absolutely fell in love with the word, and immediately applied it to one of the IPAs in our brew plans. The hop bill in this beer of Nelson Sauvin, Sabro, and Mosaic fits the bill perfectly, with a mish mash of what are, in our opinion, the best hop varietals we could possibly get our hands on added in the dry hop. The result? An intense flavour medley of mango, gooseberry, citrus fruits, and just a little hint of creamy coconut from the Sabro.

Can in the garden, 14th June 2020, another BBQ on the go. Pours cloudy orange, nice firm head on it. Aroma is tropical fruit and citrus. Taste has Sabro upfront, it’s sweet, tropical fruit, soft, explosion of flavour. Great stuff, slightly too sweet if anything for me.

Can from Eltham Wines. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Sweet citrus, tropical fruit, pineapple, peach nose. Taste is bitter and sweet juicy fruit. Tons of bittersweet fruit on the palate. Pollys certainly know their way around an IPA. Top notch stuff!

Can from Beer Ambleside. Appearance - murky yellow with a generous fluffy head. Nose - apple, orange and pineapple. Taste - plenty of fruit salad again. Apple to pineapple with citrus too. Palate - creamy and tangy at the same time. A lovely long balanced taper on the finish. Overall - lovely beer.

15/5/2020. Sample courtesy of minutemat, cheers Mat! Pours cloudy pale mustard gold with a small bubbly white head. Super juicy tropical aroma, mango, pineapple, cream, a touch of pine and coconut milk. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Great body and depth. Very drinkable.

Can from RAD Beer. Murky golden body with an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of peach, coconut and vine tomatoes. Flavour of nectarine, pineapple and mango. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Punchy and delicious. This is a fruit bomb of an IPA that comes together beautifully. I absolutely loved this.

440ml can. Hazy, verging on murky orange, good white head. Big overripe mango and stonefruit aroma. Taste presents super vibrant juicy exotics that really seem to be accentuated thanks to the Sabro which is working its wonders here providing a nice creaminess to the palate. Excellent stuff.
