ETNA is a lightly hazed IPA named after the volcano on Sicily. Thanks to some aggressive hopping (Citra, Columbus, Cascade), ETNA’s flavours and aroma erupt out of the glass. Vegan (no finings). Contains gluten (grain, oats, wheat).

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma of citrus, pine, herbal, grass but hints of washing up liquid. Hints of fruity hops in the taste but all in all quite thin.

Draft at the Tap and Tandoor, Solihull. Poured a hazy straw colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a crisp, fresh, light, mineral, earthy, herbal, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

4/3/2022. Can from 4 Guys Brewing. Pours slightly hazy golden with a frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, grass, lemon, touch herbal, soapy. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, touch of tart. Moderate body, slightly watery, soft foamy carbonation. Not much to this.

Keg @ Brewdog Birmingham. Pours a misty straw yellow, foamy white head. Aroma brings some pale malt, citric shades. Taste has a modest hop presence, some straw, cracker, pale malt, with a gentle prickly citrus bitterness. Unremarkable, thin bodied but fine overall.
