Grand Harbour, also known as the Port of Valletta, is probably Malta's greatest geographic asset: since Phoenician times it's been the stage of several battles, occupations, wars, sieges and even a devastating tornado. Grand Harbour is the epitome of a British pub beer: light and dry but also full bodied and with enough character to leave you wanting for more. At first you are greeted by a soft and biscuity flavour which teases the tongue with hints of fresh barley kernels. This is followed by a subtle release of the typically earthy, wet, and peppery notes associated with the English-grown noble hops.

Bottle at hotel room, Golden orange beer, small head. Aroma is citrus, hops, malt, tropical fruit. Taste is the same, bitter, sweet, tropical fruit, very bitter drying aftertaste that annoys after a while.

opalescent pale yellow colour, large, dense white head, which lasts for several minutes; aroma of fruits like pear and peach, some orange zest,floral and grape peel notes; well balanced bittersweet taste with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma - honestly, I expected something much more watery based on its ABV, but it is really good

19/9/2020. Bottle at the Prague GP bottle-share, courtesy of Mario. Pours clear bright gold with a fluffy white head. Nice looking beer. Aroma of citrus, flowers, lemongrass, caramel and a herbel edge. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Slight creamy texture, soft carbonation. Very nicely done.
