Justičná Tasting, shared bottle. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of dark malt, nuts, maple syrup, wood from barrel, caramel. Taste is dark malt, nougath, light roasted malt, mapple syrup, chocolate. Very nice.

Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, roastyness, chocolate, maple syrup, wooden barrel notes, wallnuts, medium bitter, light to medium sweet. Full body, malty choco roasty bitter sweet finish. Very good.

Аромат весьма обычный, особых ноток не ощущается, весьма сухой аромат жжености, совсем немного шоколада и никакиго сиропа, бочка и дерева немного. Цвет черный, пенки почти нету. Вкус тоже ровный но очень обычный. Легкая жженка от солода, немного кошолада с намеками на черный кофе, бочка, и почти снова никакого сиропа. В целом просто хорошо, не более.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pretty hard work to remove the yellow cork from the bottle. Dissipating fawn-coloured head, scattered lacing, jet black in the glass. Inviting smell of dark fruit, oak, and grainy chocolate. Rich dark malt-fruity flavours added by caramel syrup, and wood. Lingering and warming ending, smoothly roasted. Oily palate. Good sipper qualities on a Friday eve. (Tromsø, 28.04.2023).

Svart. Lysebrut skum som daler sakte. Aroma av nøtter & lønnesirup. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken sjokolade & mere lønnesirup. Tørr, lett bitter avslutning. Utmerket dessertøl.

BD 24112020. Slightly reddish black, fine layer of tan head. Smells soft, sweet, some raisins, maple. Very sticky, nicely smooth, some sharp carbonation. Taste is sweet, rich. Lots of caramel at first, something coffee'esque, wood, ending on sweet maple.

Bottled 330ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brownish head, maple and alcohol in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, dominant maple and some dried fruits with notes of wood and alcohol.

33cl bottle at tasting. Poured pitch black in color. Strong maple presence here, with ash, licorice and lots of molasses. Too sweet for me though.

Pours black, medium small tanned head with medium low stability. Scent is intense, roasty, maple underneath, promising ! Taste is very full, creamy, roasty, intense, clear maple sweetness. Lovely balanced ( a gift that few posses, but pohjala keeps proving time and again ! ) touch of bitterness and alcohol, but oh-so smooth.
