(Can, 0.5l, from a supermarket, 20240717) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness, malts and metal. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, metal, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A decent sweetish brew.

Can 500ml (S-Market Pori)
Golden colour, small white head. Sweetish, a bit honeyish nose even. Light-bodied. Sweet malty, very much typical Olvi/Sandels-like with alcoholic kick. Lacks maltyness for its ABV (and somewhat hops too). This is not full malt beer, sugar has been used. Sandels with booze.

Canned (From Alko Keskusta, Vaasa). Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is bready, smooth, mild bitterness, some mild alcohol as well. Flavour is pretty much the same elements as the aroma, but also hiding the alcohol rather well, considering how easy and smooth this is to drink.

Drukket i solveggen på Lillehøgda. Gylden. Nesten klar. Middels høyt tett skum. Antydning til maltaroma. Smaken malt med hint av alkohol. Alkoholisk tørr avslutning. Håpløs.

330ml can bought at Alko Kilpishalli. Slowly diminishing white head leaving scattered lacing on the glass, bright amber-gold body. Moderate aromas of grainy malts, semi-sweet. Plain grainy flavours, hints of herbal hops. Semi-sweet ending, grainy with noticeable alcohol. Fair enough. (Tromsø 01.06.2022).

Can from japppp. When I was a kid and first started drinking beer Sandela was one of the Finnish brands I bought because they seemed like a premium product compared to the other lagers. Had to request the Malt Liqour version when I spotted it. Sweet saccharine grainy aroma with a hint of bitterness. Amber. Thin frothy white head. From the start there's a boozy bitterness. Syrupy sweetness with a sour edge. Some graininess. The sweetness has the staying power. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Sticky. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Slightly astringent finish. It's not great but it's not supposed to be and will get you merry/teary depending on your disposition.

Smell of bread, dough. Pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of bread, malt, alcohol, syrup. Not as brutally alcoholic as expected, bordering decent. Lively carbon. Sweet. Somewhat oily texture.
