14/5/2019. Bottle, sample, courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours slightly hazy pale gold with a small bubbly short lasting head. Aroma of sherry cask, semi-tart apples, cork, wood and white grapes. Moderate sweetness and tartness. Light body, oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Worked quite well.

500ml bottle from Sterk Amsterdam online. Slightly hazy golden colour, no head and aroma of woody, apple, sherry barrel hints. Taste is sweetish, mellow, slightly tart apple with buttery, woody barrel, and sherry notes. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry woody sherry barrel finish. Quite OK

Bottle sampled. Bit hazy dull golden with a green tint. Dry apple, white wine, sherry, dry dusty notes, watery, oak. Light bitter and tart. Over light bodied, over medium dry and soft dry sherry. Ok, but too much boozy sherry.

Bottle shared at home. Hazy pale golden with white bubbly ringhead. Sour apples, glue, oak, sherry, raisans, cigar paper, back to fresh juicy green apples. Light sweet, moderate bitter and sour. Medium body and no carbonation. Perhaps too much glueyness in the nose to really enjoy the experience but the taste is decent. Interesting stuff at least. Why no carbonation?
