Bergen Ølfestival 2014. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is butterscotsch, caramel, roasted malt, hop, coffee. Flavour is the same. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

On tap at Bergen Ølfestival. An unclear, brown beer topped by a dense, dark beige colored head of finger-thick height. Both the aroma and the flavor has too much butterscotch I think, and that’s my main issue with this beer. It coffee, roasted malts and light vanilla touch is fine though. It’s medium bodied and pleasantly carbonated, but even the finish is too buttery. Not a beer I should have waited for, even though it’s far from bad. 140905

Fra fat på bryggeripuben 28 Jul 14. Mørk rødbrun. Lavt, litt farget skum. God hasselnøttaroma. Smaken er nøtter & karamell. God balanse. Avslutter litt tørt. Her var det mye nøtter. Artig.

Half, 5.3 % abv, tap at the brewpub. Moderate, creamy, fawn coloured head, solid lacework. Yeah, its hazelnuts and earthy malts on the nose. Flavours of sweet brown malts containing nuts and dark caramel. Ashy. Malt bitter ending. Nice (Oslo 06.08.2013).
