On tap @ the brewpub. Unclear reddish orange body with a creamy beige head. Aroma is mild malty with coffee and citric fruit. Flavor is quite sweet malty, mild coffee, some fruity bitterness and some caramel/toffee. Medium body and coffee in aftertaste. Quite nice, but I have sampled better versions of coffee ale.

On tap at the brewpub. An unclear, amber colored beer with a creamy, fingerthick light beige head. The aroma has a lovely coffee touch, with some faint mocha hints, a little caramel and some citrus and pale malts. There’s a nice hoppy bitterness in the flavor, with that same lovely coffee and mocha found in the aroma. Caramel and citrus notes too. Full to medium body and a nice carbonation. Lasting finish. An easy drinkable and tasteful beer, the coffee blends in so nicely it just belongs there. 140501
