33cl bottle from Vinmonopolet. Pours close to black with a tan head. Rather mild roasty aromas with notes of dark fruits, hints of chocolate, licorice and wood. Medium sweet with mild roasty and malty flavours, some slightly sour notes and a fairly light bitterness. Fair enough, but not a favourite in my book.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Bestillingsutvalget. A jet black body under a low, bubbly, tan-coloured head. Cocoa nose, mild roasted. Sweet taste of liquorice, grain, and cocoa. Distant roastiness to the ending. Medium bodied. Smooth, sweet and rather unvaried (shared with djoeye, Tromsø 19.05.2014).

Bottle. A very dark brown beer topped by a nice, dense dark beige head of two finger size. The aroma is roasted and burnt with toffee. A bit one dimensional maybe, but nice. There’s bitterness and some anise as well in the flavor, along with the roasted, burnt malts. Quite dry on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. Bitter, roasted finish. A quite pleasant Spanish beer. 140307
