Stallhagen New England IPA is an attractive aromatic pale yellow specialty. True to its style this translucent beer pours cloudy. Made with generous amounts of aroma hops. A smooth tropical fruitiness with citrusy notes dominate both the aroma and taste completed by a nuance of pine resin in the finish. Pleasantly mellow and balanced hop bitterness. Full-bodied frame, mouth feel is juicy with a smoothie-like softness.

Draught@Bothnia Beer Fest 2018 & HBF2018. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, nectary and some mild lactose. Flavour is fruity, clean, some bitterness, mild floral notes with some sweet malts. Not that typical NEIPA... but still a pleasant IPA.

Aroma has overripe fruits and cereal. Flavour has minerals, overripe fruits, some grapefruity hops and hints of herbs. Also metallic tones. Messy. Worst NEIPA I've had.

Smell of mango. Dark amber colour, white head. Aroma of overripe fruit, yeast, some grass. Flat carbon. Sweet. Very light body.

On tap at Viking Xpress. Clear golden with a moderate off-white head. Fruity and hoppy with solid malt base, some caramel and citrus in the finish. Moderate to medium sweet, fruity and hoppy flavours and a medium to light bitterness. Doesn't look like a NEIPA and certainly doesn't taste like one either. Feels more like their regular IPA.

Tap at Solmu Pub, Helsinki. Color is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some fruits, some hops and some malts. Very boring and nothing to do with new england IPAs.

Tap@ oak barrel, Helsinki. Poured golden color with a thin white head with. Candy sweet fruitiness. Malts and light perfume. Candy fruits, hops and citrus. Ok bitterness.

Tap at The Oak.Barrel, HEL. A bit hazy orange colour, medium-sized off-white creamy head. Tropical fruits, banana candy in the nose. Medium-bodied. Tropical fruits, pale malts, some citrus in the finish. Not much to do with neipa but ok clean IPA.
