Semi quick tate.
Smell - weak hops, weak gasoline, weak plastic
Appearance - hazy, sedimenty brown orange in color. Medium to small white-orange foam. Few carbonation bubbles.
From - pint.
Taste - hops, bitter tones, faint gasoline. Nothing special.

50cl PET from The Ethnographic Open-Air Museum of Latvia (on the fair The 48th Latvian Folk Applied Arts). Almost muddy brownish golden with a modest off-white head. Immediate smokey aroma - more peaty fell than bonfire or bacon - with some herbal notes? Or is it just the acidity and the unusual aromas? At least rather smokey, sweet and somewhat herbal with slightly fruity and yeasty notes and a mild acidity. Surprisingly interesting and rather enjoyable. Tasty and fairly balanced. Hmmm, would like to know more about this and try some more of those... The smoke is lasting. Still nice and smoky aroma even when the glass is empty... --- Beer merged from original tick of Mājas Alus on 14 Jun 2018 at 21:11 - Score: 7

Oops - put my review as the official description ! Anyway it is a typical Latvian "lauku alus" (country beer). Flat, cloudy and very sweet
