Cask, at the new L’Ermitage place. Took some pouring. I’m guessing a hand pump is fairly new to these boys! Nose has wheaty grain. Lots of pith. It’s a bit worty, really. Taste fares better, feeling well balanced, bitter and sweet. Medium body belies the 8.5%. Moderate bitterness to finish. Ok. Doesn’t jump out of the glass, particularly.

Draft at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours fairly hazy, intense blonde, with very fine white foam. Aroma is particular, recalling cookies, a little piney. Body is fairly dense, smooth, with limited carbonation. Taste is quite bitter, with a very long final.

33cl bottle from The Beer Shop, Alfaz del Pi. Pours hazy deep golden to amber with a moderate, white head. Malty and hoppy aroma with fruity notes, caramel, herbs and hints of cat piss. Fairly sweet with hoppy flavours and a medium bitter finish. Sweet and hoppy, but not too refreshing.
