23/10/2024. Can bought at 7-Eleven, Otemachi. The can says zero on it rather than 70% but it’s the same 4.0% abv and it’s as per the earlier reviews so didn’t seem worthy of a new addition to RateBeer. Pours bright golden amber with a short lasting white head. Aroma is skunky, malty, metallic, cardboard, bready, sugar syrup, odd musty fruits. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Light bodied, very watery, average carbonation. A very cheap beer but pretty nasty too.

Can at the hotel in Tokyo. Pours clear yellow with a fluffy, white head. Mellow aroma, some crispy cereal, simple pale bread. Light sweet flavour with with pleasant biscuity notes, some pizza crust, pale grains, low bitterness, just faint hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish, not too sweet, lightly drying, dried pale grains, straw. Basic but enjoyable.

35cl can from 7-Eleven, Hiroshima. Pours pale golden with a small, white head. Mild grainy aroma with notes of cardboard, boiled rice and vegetables. Sweet, grainy and watery with hints of acidity and bitterness. Classic crappy pale lager.
