Bottle at home. Is clear and has a amber color. In addition, a lot of foam with off-white color. Relatively malty aroma with a little forest floor/heather, citrus, grass, white bread, spices, grains and almonds. Phenolic tones reminiscent of Belgian yeast. Malty taste of dry hay and white bread. Grass too. A little alcoholic presence. Smooth mouth feel, light to medium body and light bitterness. Very carbonated. Things that indicate a small infection. Otherwise, malty and decent pale ale, especially for a low ABV ale.

50cl bottle from Meny Søndersrød, Helgeroa. Pours slightly hazy deep golden with a large, bubbely head. Fruity and fairly yeasty aroma with mild grainy notes, hints of citrus and herbs. Moderate sweet with fairly mild flavours, a yeast seems to be a bit to dominating, but a quite nice bitterness. Medium body and lively carbonation, almost fizzy, certainly too much for my liking. Fair enough, and quite drinkable all together.

On tap @ Kick. Unclear golden body with a small white head. Aroma is mild malty with a hint of fruity yeast. Flavor is rater mild and light pale malt, slightly fruity and spicy yeast. Medium body and short in aftertaste. Decent, quite straight forward golden ale.

On tap. It pours a lightly unclear golden body under a nice, dense, white head. The aroma is fruity, with a little yeasty touch. Pale malts and a nice citrusy touch. There’s a pleasant bitterness in the mouth, blending nicely with the lightly sweetish pale malts. Some citrus fruit too. Medium to full body, soft and quite dry on the palate. Lasting bitter finish with some bready malts in the back. A refreshing and quite tasteful beer. Not very exciting, but nice anyway. 140531

26.03.2014, tap @ Café Sara:
Completely flat. Aroma is slightly sweet grainy, yeast, wet grain, flowers, dried fruits, hay, citrus, herbs. Taste is very yeasty, wet grain, masses of yeast, hay, weeds, herbs, caramel, hints of cardboard and almond essence. Medium bitterness, dry grainy mouthfeel, no carbonation. Feels like they’re rushing things to deliver / serv the beer before it’s even finished.
Apparently there was something wrong with this batch, so the brever recalled it. So I’ll give this one a chance to be rerated when I get the opportunity.
