Bottled (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is yeasty, some floral and mild toffeish notes. Flavour is and some toffee, quite floral and mild wooden and spicy too.

Amber colour, firm beige head and some lace. Grassy with caramel in the nose with some cardboard. Medium-bodied. Sweetish caramalty even berryish, Quite bitter finish.

50cl bottle @Vasa. Norski tasting 2019 Poured mahogany color. Thin white head. Aroma has bready malts, caramel, toffee. Flavor has bread, caramel, malts, wood.

Bottle. Pours a deep dark brown colour with a small off-white head. A little careful and malty aroma with some dried fruit, leather and cocoa. Flavor of pine, leather and some grass. A litte dry. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a balanced bitterness. A careful but well-balanced ale. Decent.

Flaske 500 fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Batch 81. Delt med Egil på Lillehøgda 12 Jan 17 som tilbehør til ribbemiddag. Ultramørkebrun. Middels høyt skum med litt farge. Aroma av plommer. Smaken karamell & mørk frukt. God - men kanskje for søt. Litt julestemning i denne!

500ml bottle, batch 81, 6.5 % abv, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Clingy lacing from a fast declining fawn-coloured head. Clear mahogany coloured body. Modest aroma of forest and herbal hops. Brown malty flavours joined by prunes and earth. Drying malt-accented ending. Medium bodied. Pleasant Yuletide feel (Tromsø 07.01.2017).

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is kind of neutral, minerals, weeds, grass, alcohol, yeast, dark sugar, dried fruits, butterscotch. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, minerals, bark, grass, alcohol, yeast, dried fruits, dark sugar, fruit stones, butterscotch. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and harsh grassy mouthfeel. Meh!

40cl on tap at Sandar Haandverksbryggeri - Brygghuset, Sandefjord. Clear mahogany with beige head. Malty and slightly fruity aroma with lots of caramel, some mild hoppy notes and hints of herbs. Sweet and caramelly with a rather mild bitterness. Fairly drinkable, but on the boring side.

Aroma of smoke, dark bread, some chocolate, plums, coffee, roasted malt, phenols. Some sweetness, medicine-like bitterness. Re-rated 2017-01-06: Shared bottle at home. Pours hazy dark copper with little off-white head. Aroma of dark bread, dark dried fruits, some chocolate, acetone, esters. Tastes sweet with balancing bitterness, medium bodied, dry mouth feel.
