50cl bottle (just "Legenda" in huge letters on the bottle, then also "Legenda - prove #9" is written there) from some Rimi in Riga. Pours surprisingly beautiful deep, glowing and slightly hazy amber with a decent off-white head. Mild malty and fruity aroma with caramel, dried apricots and hints of hops. Medium sweet, but fairly balanced, mild fruity and caramelly flavour and a fairly light bitterness. Easy to drink and far better than expected, still not too much to write home about, but fairly drinkable.

500ml bottle [thanx to Leģenda ’Tanja & Verena’ for this one!]. Cloudy amber colour with average, firm, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Minimally sweet-ish, grainy aroma, hints of dough, bread, cereals, a touch of mandarine and limp hay. Taste is slightly sweet, biscuity malty, minimally fruity, hints of caramel, bread, a touch of mandarine; slick, almost oily texture. Quite OK.
