Amber with an off white head - Nice malt aroma - Nice malt body with caramel - The malt and caramel goes into the finish - This was very nice, and easy drinking

200ml draught at the brewpub. Deep ruby-red body. Filmy layer blanketing the glass. Attractive aromas of dark fruits and dark malts. Jam-like taste of black currant, dark malts, and dark fruits. A nice bittersweet finish. Fine bodied. Likable (Oslo 08.09.2015).

On tap at Schouskjelleren Mikrobryggeri, Oslo. Slightly hazy dark amber with an off-white head. Malty aroma dominated by caramel with some almost floral not of honey, berries and spices. Certainly sweet, but interesting flavours and it is a bit balanced even thou the sweetness is dominating. Deep nutty color with a tan head. Honey-ish, dried fruits and toffee aroma. Medium + body and a soft carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Fruity, toffee and honey-ish flavor. Nice and tasty doppelbock.
