On tap at Kristiansand Ølfestival. It’s a hazy one, amber in color and a dense, finger-thick off-white to beige head on top. The aroma is rather malty, with caramel, dark dried fruits, some alcohol and a generic fruity touch. It’s full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated, with pine cones, resin notes, hints of dried fruits and a nice bitterness. Malts in the back. Lasting finish. A nice one indeed, but it feels a bit too heavy when it warms up. 150822

Draught @ Kristiansand Ølfestival 2015
Pours hazy deep amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, dried fruits and alcohol. Taste is heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, caramel and dried fruity finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Grünerløkka brygghus at Oslo Beer Week. Slightly hazy caramel coloured with a somewhat modest, tanned head. Malty and rather caramelly aroma with hints of roasted malt, dried fruits and some slightly vinous notes. Sweet, but balanced with lots of malt and caramel and a fairly light bitterness in the finish. Not my favourite style, but this is well crafted and quite drinkable.

A deep nutty or amber-ish color. Hard to say really. And it is off course very important. The head looks really nice…for about 3 minutes. A very true to type aroma. Lots of dried fruits and deep caramel malty. A very thick and oily body. Solid balance between sweetness and bitterness. Smooth carbonation. Also a very fine and classic flavor with a lot of dried fruits and a sold caramel malt base. No sticky horrible alcohol. Just nice and warming. Lovely evening sipper.
