200ml enjoyed from tap at the brewpub. Beige head leaving great laces down the glass. Jet black body. Peaty, dark fruity nose. Solid and comprehensive taste of red oranges and anise, semi-sweet, on a backbone of slightly smoked malts. Good bitter support, that lasted all the way back to Gardermoen. One of the best brews so far from Schouskjelleren (Oslo, 09.04.2012).

Black :-) with an beige head. Very fruity and hoppy nose. A very dominant fruity flavour. Well blended with roasted malt and hopps. The best so far for my mouth at Schouskjelleren.

On tap at Schouskjelleren (2012-03-21). Pours black with a light brown head. Hoppy aroma of citrus, pine and fruit with roasted malt in a pleasant combination. Average carbonation and good lacings. Fresh and fruity BIPA with lots of hops. Nice balance between the hoppy flavours and the roasted malty flavours. Hops are dominant but hints of smoke and bitter chocolate with the roasted malt makes this quite interesting. One of the better BIPAs I’ve tried. Dry, bitter and hoppy finish with a long hoppy aftertaste (with some roasted malt in the background too).
