Bottle shared at Anti-Carnavalstasting 2019. Dark brown color, dark red glare, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, light chocolaty notes, slight vanilla perhaps. More bitterness than I had expected. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad.

Geproefd met dank aan Benzai. Donkerbruin troebel bier. Aroma en smaak van chocolade, hout, pruimen en rozijnen. Nasmaak heeft iets pittigs.

Anti-Carnaval Tasting 2019 @ Benzai’s Gallic fortress of resistance. Dark brown with light tan head. Sweet malts, milky chocolate. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Bottle. Color: Very dark brown, thin light brown head. Taste: Dark roasted malt, medium sweet with bitter notes. Notes of smoke, lightly notes of dark chocolate. Lightly hints of vanilla, licorice and nuts. Bitter and pretty dry finish. Medium carbonation, above medium to full body.
