On tap at the brewpub. A hazy, amber colored beer with a small, dense, beige head. Mostly hoppy aroma, but with some coffee-like roasted notes. A bit weak. The flavor is on the hoppy side, lemon peel, oranges and some green pine cones. Decent bitterness. Full body and pleasant carbonation. Short finish that blends sugary malts and bitterness in a smooth way. Drinks easily, doesn’t impress. 110211

350ml, 4.9% ABV, draught at the brewpub. Cloudy, dark amber body. Nice lacing from a tiny, off-white layer. Sweet malt-fruity smell. Sharp fruity caramel in flavour with a note of liquorice and some leafy hops. Rounded bitter end. More or less true to the style (Oslo, 01.04.2011).
