On tap at Cafe Sara, Oslo. Very dark, close to black with a creamy beige head. Hoppy aroma with moderate roasty notes, pine, citrus and hints of tropical fruits and coffee. Moderate sweet with lovely fresh and hoppy flavours and a nice bitternes. The hoppiness is certainly dominating, but the dark flavours are well integrated. Lasting bitter aftertaste with notes of pine and citrus. Delicious BIPA! --- Beer merged from original tick of SørvAle on 25 Oct 2013 at 17:10 - Score: 8

On tap @ the brewpub. Dark brown, close to black with a fantastic good looking head. Thick, creamy, pale beige top that seems to stay forever. Really nice aroma as well dominated by pine but also citric fruit, marmalade and light roasted malt. Flavor is moderate sweet, dark, light roasted malt, pine, citric fruit, chocolate and good bitterness. Fine and balanced body, not heavy with a long lasting aftertaste. A really pleasant tasty and balanced BIPA.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a really dark body, almost black, and topped by a creamy, tan head of two finger size. The aroma is on the hoppy side, lots of pine cones, quite a lot of orange peel, and an appropriate amount of roasted malts giving coffee and some bonfire notes. Pretty similar flavor with a nice bitterness and some chocolate. Full body and a nice carbonation level. Lasting finish. A pretty wonderful BIPA. 131004
