(Keg at Aino, 20171103) The beer poured mahogany coloured and nearly clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, caramel and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, grassy and bitter. A nice balanced amber ale.

Flavours were malts, caramell, hops, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste had malts, sweetness and bitterness. An average amber ale.

Tap at Ravintola Aino, Helsinki. Colour is dark orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Caramel, some pine, some distant hints of spruce, bread and malts. Very nice maltiness. Some chocolate after warming.

Taster at the brewery, summer 2013 from notes. I thought I’d rated this already... my favorite of the set it poured a slightly opaque amber brown with an off-white head. A sweet malty caramel aroma with a whiff of chocolate. The flavor is really nicely balance: a bit of caramel sweetness, then a crisp bitterness with a touch of chocolate in the aftertaste. Good stuff.

Dark red-ruby color, good creamy off-white head. Lots of caramel, a bit "dusty". Medium-bodied. Lots of caramel in the flavor, some leafy hoppyness, citrus. A bit too much sweetness, perhaps from crystal malts. but OK solid brew otherwise.

On tap at the Brewery, October 2013. Slightly hazy copper with a white head. A lot of nuts both in the aroma and taste. Also toffee, some dried fruit and with roasted notes. A relaxed one.

Pours dark amber red with a small head. Aroma of caramely malts, grassy hops and mild hints of toffee. Taste is sweetish, caramely and malty with hints of grassy hops and toffee. Finish is dry, bitter and crisp malty with caramely notes. Quite balanced and tasty English style amber ale.

On tap at Bryggeri Helsinki. Deep amber with an off-white head. Moderate hoppy aroma with malt, caramel and hints of spices. Moderate sweet and malty with a nice bittereness in the finish. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Quite nice. (2013-08-18)

Tap@brewery. Mahogany wirh a lasting white head. Bready, spicy, malty aroma. Flavor has caramel, bread, herbal notes, grain. Finish is short. Medium bodied. Clean and tasty.

Aroma is almost completely missing. maybe some herbal notes and gooseberry bush. Hints of hay too. Flavour has resiny malt and fruity hops. Finishes with gooseberry bush and distant herbal tones. Promising start with the sip, but finishes with a bit empty feeling and lingering hops. Gets slight berry tones when warming up. Nice anyway.

Draught@SOPP Helsinki 2013. Reddish amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some slight caramel and mild toffee. Flavour is crystal malts, mild grass and some floral notes. Crisp maltyness, and on the verge of having too much crystal in it.
