Bottle to go from Askur, Egilsstaðir. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and herbs. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 130723

On tap at Askur Taproom, pours a cloudy murky orange with a small white head. Aroma is full of diacetyl, earthy hops somewhere underneath, and biscuity malt. Flavour is a little less offensive, with muffled earthy hops, followed by diacetyl, and bready notes. This needs some serious tweaking. I usually am not too annoyed when one beer in a flight is off, but when each is $6+, this can fuck right off.
