Treat yourself!
Our three-part pastry stout series brings out the fun side of stout. With dark chocolate and toasty flavours from your favourite desserts, we’re adding some richness to your glass.
Part two is Banana, displaying a yellow head and with a taste reminding you of a classic banana split. Oozing chocolate, nice and creamy. A real treat.

Pours very dark brown, almost black with a tan head.Nose shows banana lollies, roasted malt, a hint of liquorice, some bready malt, subtle cocoa.Flavours include roasted malt, artificial banana, overpoweringly strong lactose sweetness, a bit of chocolate syrup. A bit too far on the sweet side for my liking.

From a 375ml can on 29/9/2020. Pours a deep brown with a medium light tan head. The nose features banana lolly with a touch of milk chocolate. It's all banana lolly and chocolate on the sip, with a very gentle, slightly sharp bitterness tempering the sweetness at the back. The palate is really creamy, the carbonation moderate. Straight forward but very enjoyable.

Can from brewery. Pours black with a head that actually does have a yellow tinge. Nose is very much banana lollies. That's the predominant flavour, with a chocolate foundation. This does actually work without being spectacular.
