(Can) Pours black with short-lived tan caramel head. Nice complex aroma - roast malt, dark toffee, raisins, port. Wonderful palate. Full bodied, smooth, creamy with fine bright carbonation. Awesome rich dark complex taste. There’s a dark toffee sweetness and vanilla to start with. Raisins, port and booze cut in. Some pretty decent burnt sugar bitterness develops in the finish and is partnered there with some alcohol heat. There’s coffee and chocolate in the mix too. Very enjoyable.

Can. Black, almost no carbonation. Very roasty nose with a dry chocolate aspect. Not much sweetness. More of burnt caramel, soy, and some bitterness. Would like to see how this ages (but I'm too impatient!).

From a 375ml can on 30/6/2019 (shared with Butz). Pours near black with a small light tan head. The nose is roasty with some dark chocolate. The flavour features dark and milk chocolate, some caramel, a touch of soy, and relatively firm roasty bitterness. Full bodied, slick and viscous, with moderate carbonation. A pretty solid impy.
