Sometimes you have to go lighter... but that doesn't mean the taste isn't high! This carefully crafted lager marries Amarillo and Columbus hops that collide together to create light citrusy and spicy apricot tones.

Sit back & relax with this light session-able craft lager that doesn't compromise on flavour.

Brewed in small batches at an award winning microbrewery in the South Pennines.

440ml can. Light cloudy gold pour, small white head, modest retention. Aroma is quite malty, some raisins and citrus. Taste is biscuit, semi-sweet, slight fruity hop, a little thin, mild bitter bite, some grain. Light bodied. Its pretty good for what it is, slightly better than I was expecting

440ml can from the Brewery Tap - Hazy yellow body, little top. Nose is lightly malty with a bit of citrus. Taste is watery and a bit of biscuit. Home Bargains version of Skol?

Can from local Home Bargains. Has a slight aroma of hoppiness mixed with detergent. Pours a very pale straw with a sizeable but very transient white head. In the mouth fairly high carbonation can be detected, though otherwise it is fairly watery. Some fruity hops and traces of nuts. Slight bitterness in the finish. Not bad – plenty of bite for its strength.

Can from Home Bargains, Salford. Pale golden with a small head and a fair carbonation, which is probably more noticeable in the palate than the glass. Nicely light if you prefer low alcohol brews, this is pleasant enough in that respect but there's not a lot of flavour, and this is in spite of the fact its hop influence is fairly evident.
