A very special beer, for a very special project launched by Weathered Souls Brewing Co. 100% of the proceeds from this beer will be going to Manchester-based Kids Of Colour who provide a platform for young people affected by racism within the education system & beyond.
A rich, velvety & elegant stout loaded to the rafters with cocoa, vanilla & a double dose of espresso roast coffee. We've spread the additions over a double drop to bring layered, fruity & aromatic coffee flavours bolstered by rounded chocolate & smooth vanilla. Gently carbonated; it drinks with mellow softness, the flavours of rich chocolate & coffee cherry linger to the finish.

440ml can. Smooth, massively roasty and sweetish with loads of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, cocoa, syrup and ashy earthiness, hints of lactic stuffy notes. Pretty good, but the lactic notes are a bit unpleasant.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 14/01/21. Black with a decent tan cap that dissipates edgeward in time. Nose is chocolate, coffee grinds, black peppery spice, vanilla, toffee fudge. Taste comprises coffee, dark chocolate, mellow roast, brown sugars, molasses, spice, dark malts, liquorice, vanilla essence. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close Solid coffee laden impy stoot ... good balance and spice level ... never gets too sweet.

Can at home picked up from HOTM. A thick jet black coloured pour with a fading deep tan head. Aroma is super rich fruit cake, treacle, spiced cinnamon, vanill, big dark chocolate. Flavour is composed of super thick chewy, layered malts, bitter dark choc, treacle, vanilla, spiced fruit cake. Nice rounded lactose and marshmallow, So rich and moreish. Palate is medium sweet, with rounding bitter cocoa, pillow carbonation, chewy marshmallow, full and slick. Very good indeed.

Some coffee on the nose. Thick, sweet and creamy, roasted coffee, some dark chocolate. Some vanilla in the back. Oddly manages to be both very sweet and very roasty. Nice.

440ml can. Pitch black with a thin brown head. Aroma of strong espresso, dark chocolate, vanilla. Taste is bittersweet, huge hit of espresso, dark chocolate, that combo is almost like tonka, rounded out with sweet creamy vanilla and lactose, bittersweet finish, strong but the alcohol is well hidden. Thick, full bodied, creamy, smooth. To borrow the name, it's a truly beautiful stout.
