The Saison Dupont is a top fermentation beer with refermentation in the bottle.
Since 1844, this beer has been brewed in our farm-brewery, during the winter time.
Then this beer became a second refermentation in the barrel.
During the next summer, this very thirst-quenching beer was served to the “saisoniers” which were working on the fields.
Surely therefore, our Saison Dupont is considered as “the classic” among the Belgian season beers!
Coppery blond, the finest aromas and a strong bitterness transform this beer into a thirst-quenchener with no equal, just the way it was created.
Our selection of yeasts is the perfect base for these typical aromas and ditto taste.
A real refermentation in the bottle, which will continue for a long time in your cellar, result into this complex and particular aromatic beer.

Hazy yellow. White persistent head. Fantastic aroma of continental hops, spices, weissbier, coriander and a hint of lime. Similarly good taste with superb drinkability. Hops and bitterness in aftertaste.

Bottle at the CBB Saison Event. A clear light gold, more of a zesty lightly funky farmhouse with a bit of spice aroma. Much softer carbonation than the Biologique. The taste is funkier as well, spicy, a bit sharp, a bit metallic. 6.5% is quite a bit higher than I thought. OK.

Original rating 16.05.2014: 0,33L bottle, BB05.2016. Pours golden with white head. The head stays. Aroma is sour, fruity, spicy and yeasty. Taste is sour, fruits, and spices. Finish is also spicy. Overall: solid brew. Rating 6:4:5:3:14. Update: had it many times since original rating and this is actually really great brew that I severely underrated at first.

tap at JK O’Donnell’s - Pours hazy straw colored with a fading white head. It has a yeasty aroma with some farmhouse funk. The taste has mild bitterness, a little funk, and a pleasantly dry character. Good beer.

330 ml bottle. Hazy honey gold color topped by a big rocky white head. Fresh lemon citrus, yeasty malt aroma. Wonderful tangy wheat-like malt flavor has the slightest barnyard funkiness. Very refreshing and flavorful. Notes of hay, tangerine, coriander and mustard seed. Pleasantly balanced with spicy, pink peppercorn hops in the finish. This a world classic and a must have for saison lovers.
