The Saison Dupont is a top fermentation beer with refermentation in the bottle.
Since 1844, this beer has been brewed in our farm-brewery, during the winter time.
Then this beer became a second refermentation in the barrel.
During the next summer, this very thirst-quenching beer was served to the “saisoniers” which were working on the fields.
Surely therefore, our Saison Dupont is considered as “the classic” among the Belgian season beers!
Coppery blond, the finest aromas and a strong bitterness transform this beer into a thirst-quenchener with no equal, just the way it was created.
Our selection of yeasts is the perfect base for these typical aromas and ditto taste.
A real refermentation in the bottle, which will continue for a long time in your cellar, result into this complex and particular aromatic beer.

Draft rate @Strangeways Dallas. I have a bottle notes for this somewhere, forgive me. Frothy, honey gold pour. Earth, faint very citrus, wheat, some phenol action, olive. Don't remember what this used to taste like. Earthy, peppery, a little grape. Taste is earthy, waxy, earthy floral, bittergreen, olive, lingering wheat, refreshing but too complex to brush off. Crispy, maybe a little weak in the carb department, slight body, somewhat too hot. It's just good. Though I vaguely remember the bottle taking it from good to great.

Bottle drunk after the long Wednesday of toddler care while wondering if it will ever stop raining long enough to finish our addition. Lightly hazy gold, medium-bubbled head, nose of hay with cut flowers and honeyed bread. Flavor is fantastic, honey with complex cheesy notes, hints of caramel, smooth herbal bitterness. The high carb and fine bubbles lend it a fantastic rich mouthfeel although it's a pretty dry beer. Top notch.

bomber - picked up at Fresh Market. Been trying to get one of these for some time now. Heavy carbonation - lovely spice notes to compliment it. Big fan
