The Saison Dupont is a top fermentation beer with refermentation in the bottle.
Since 1844, this beer has been brewed in our farm-brewery, during the winter time.
Then this beer became a second refermentation in the barrel.
During the next summer, this very thirst-quenching beer was served to the “saisoniers” which were working on the fields.
Surely therefore, our Saison Dupont is considered as “the classic” among the Belgian season beers!
Coppery blond, the finest aromas and a strong bitterness transform this beer into a thirst-quenchener with no equal, just the way it was created.
Our selection of yeasts is the perfect base for these typical aromas and ditto taste.
A real refermentation in the bottle, which will continue for a long time in your cellar, result into this complex and particular aromatic beer.

0,33 bottle.Nice traditional bottle and label. The beer has a beautiful head, with small holes, but solid, and it stays thin and nice. The color is musty, cloudy, a little indefinable - ripe barley color. Grape, sparkling aroma, with some yeastiness. It opens with sweetness, a quality sweet wine touch. There is also a definite bitterness, with a little but sparkling carbonation, medium body. Quite interesting and delicious. Fruitiness is also noticeable, but not the heavier dried type, but somehow still fresh. Candy sugar finish. Fruity light-triple :) with some strange flavor. The Golding hops worked well in it, recommended to try.

Szép hagyományos üveg és címke. A sör habja gyönyörű, apró lyukú, de tömör, és vékonyan szépen megmarad. A színe mustos, zavaros, kicsit meghatározhatatlan - érett árpa szín. Szőlős, pezsgős illat, némi élesztősséggel. Édességgel nyit, minőségi édesboros beütés. Meghatározó keserűség is van, kevés, de pezsgős szénsav mellett, közepes test. Egész érdekes és finom. Gyümölcsösség is érezhető, de nem a nehezebb aszalt-típusú, hanem valahogy mégis friss. Kandiscukros lecsengés. Gyümölcsös light-triple :) némi különös ízzel. A golding komló jól működött benne, ajánlott próbálni.

On tap at Monks Cafe. hazy gold, white head. Belgian yeast, spice, some fruitiness. Had higher hopes for this.

Servida en tulipa. Me sorprendió para bien esta cerveza, ya en el olfato y en los primeros tragos me di cuenta de que estaba ante algo bueno, un subidón. Bonito aspecto, dorado pálido y turbio, con corona de espuma de buena retención. Aroma "Belga, meloso, afrutado, artesanal...", me hace salivar a la primera olfateada (levadura, toques de malta, lúpulo...) Una delicia.
