The Saison Dupont is a top fermentation beer with refermentation in the bottle.
Since 1844, this beer has been brewed in our farm-brewery, during the winter time.
Then this beer became a second refermentation in the barrel.
During the next summer, this very thirst-quenching beer was served to the “saisoniers” which were working on the fields.
Surely therefore, our Saison Dupont is considered as “the classic” among the Belgian season beers!
Coppery blond, the finest aromas and a strong bitterness transform this beer into a thirst-quenchener with no equal, just the way it was created.
Our selection of yeasts is the perfect base for these typical aromas and ditto taste.
A real refermentation in the bottle, which will continue for a long time in your cellar, result into this complex and particular aromatic beer.

Flasche. Trübes goldgelb, viel Schaum der sich schnell verflüchtigt. Aroma: Getreide, Hopfen, etwas Citrus, ein leichter Hauch Banane. Geschmack: moderat süß, saure Ansätze. Banane, Zitrone, Hopfen. Leicht bitter im Gaumen. Spritziger Antrunk.

Bottle online from Beerhouseshop.be. Pours a have golden/amber colour with a large thick foamy off-white head. Aromas of floral, apples, pears, coriander and spice. Taste has more of the same notes from the aroma with a peppery spice and citrus like bitterness on the finish. Thin to medium body, fairly lively palate but with also a smooth mouthfeel. Really nice

bottiglia 33 cl, bel cappello di schiuma bianca fine persistente, colore giallo smorto velato, al naso lievito Dupont scorza d’arancia spezie pepe, in bocca spezie frutta gialla coriandolo, corpo leggero, carbonazione forte, amaro moderato, asciutta. Very session able and easy drinkable saison Hazy golden in the glass with a fine head Pleasant intensity in the aroma Ok carbonation level for a beer like this Mild pleasant acidity and sweetness.
