Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is hazelnut, chocolate, maple. Taste is sweet chocolate and cream, somehow strawberries, maple and nuts. Very sweet. Oily mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation that is just enough to be present. A bit too straightforwardly sweet for me.

On keg @ the Wee Vault. Appearance - black with no head. Nose - hazelnut and sweet chocolate. A light edge of roast or coffee. Taste - more hazelnut and praline. Again there is sweet chocolate and a lightly roasty edge. Palate - medium bodied, creamy sweet middle, light roast on the finish. Overall - lovely pastry stout.
