Can from Boon’s Supermarket, Utrecht. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and yeasty. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 300425

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is pale malt with yeasty and fruity notes, some citrus, a herbal touch, and some hoppy hints. Moderate sweet and bitter flavour, medium bitter flavour. Not much of an enigma, a bit dull actually. Doesn't hold a candle to the 'original' Blonde Enigma from Ruig.

Hazy dark blond colour with no head. Aroma is quite wheaty. Flavour has a traditional noble hop rounded bitterness. A bit flat and plain but ok.

Bottle. Color: Clear orange amber, off-white head. Aroma: Malty, sweetish, yeasty notes. Taste: Over moderate sweet malt, caramel and yeasty notes, sugary, herbal and banana hints. Moderate to over moderate hopbitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Bit foamy mouthfeel. Ok.

Gefunden in einer Spezialitätenbox bei HOFER/ALDI. Ein Bier, das erst einmal durch seine extravagente Etiketten- Gestaltung auffällt: Eine Gruppe Nacktkatzen meditiert hier und erzeugt eine giftgrüne Aura-Strahlung. Keine Ahnung warum, aber es erinniert mich an eine Fahrt mit einen Shuttle-Taxi Uzhhorod-Budapest-Wien, wo ein haariger Hipster eine solche Nacktkatze dabei hatte, die dann alle anderen Passagiere nervte, indem sie dauernd raunzte und nervös umher wanderte. Erst als das Auto auf der Auftobahn bei Györ rauchend einging, beruhigte sie sich und schlief auf meinem Schoß ein - als Allergiger war ich über die fehlenden Haare froh - aber das Tier erinnerte derartig an einen Gremlin, dass ich frage wie durchgeknallt man sein muss, ein solch degeneriertes Tier zu halten. Die ganze Geschichte hat mit dem Bier natürlich nichts zu tun, aber ich erzähle sie halt gerne. Es ist ein dunkles Blonde mit karamellig-malzigen Noten und einem hefigen Abgang. In der Mitte ist es ein bisschen grob bitter, aber es geht noch. WIrklich nicht übel.

Bottle from Hoffer NL brewery no.18 Kinda okay ale, bit high on carbonation, and honestly I already had kinda better presentations of enigma already.
