Bottle at home. Almost clear light golden with short lasting fizzy white head. Lots of ginger, soft wheat, like, spices, soft dry malts, lemon, CO2, galangal. Over light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Mostly ginger aroma, not too bad.

33cl Bottle from AH. Pale golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of ginger, hint of lime leaves. Flavour is mostly throat-burning ginger, ginger ale, short herbal bitter finish. Shame the other herbs didn't come out as much, I love kaffir lime and cardamom. Light bodied.

0.33 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', bottled in August 2018. Clear, golden with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, fairly herbal-spicy, gently fruity and a bit floral aroma of massive ginger, some lime and maybe some bergamot. Minimally sweet, gently bitter, a bit watery, quite herbal-spicy and slightly fruity taste of ginger, some lime and some pomelo, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly watery, herbal and peppery-spicy finish. Thin body, gently effervescent and slightly burning mouthfeel, average carbonation. Pretty heavy on the ginger, not too bad as I generally like it and as there is not much else, but quite unbalanced and monotonous as well. For 2.5% abv a good deal though.

Bottle smuggled into Paradiso Noord. Pale straw with white head. Massive ginger, some lime, some going-nowhere vegetal notes, and some pretty spicy ginger. Moderate sweet and bitter, quite spicy, some lemony sour, watery feel. Under medium body. Soft carbonation. Weird soda. Botanically brewed, thefuck does that mean? --- Beer merged from original tick of Lowlander Ginger Beer on 13 Aug 2018 at 20:53 - Score: 5 --- Beer aliased from original tick of Ginger & Lime Leaf on 13 Aug 2018 at 20:53 - Score: 5.
