Collaboration entre la Distillerie de Biercée et la Brasserie de Silly.
La Douce, with a yellow label and a cloudy, light yellow color, is a top-fermented wheat beer. It is thirst-quenching and has a delicate lemon zest flavor. This beer owes its taste to the passion of the master brewer of Silly and the master distiller of Biercée for the Eau de Villée. After all, they added a dash of Eau de Villée to the white beer brew, the famous lemon liqueur from the Biercée Distillery. It's that little bit more that translates into the personality, fresh taste and natural lemon flavors of this beer.

330ml Bottle - Hazy golden with a foamy white head. Lemon, spice and soap feature in the aroma. Interesting, yet fairly refreshing taste with notes of lemon meringue standing out, along with some spicy hints.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Very lemony aroma - as in Radler. Medium body, sweet, spicy and perfumy, slightly spicy and estery. Again loads of lemon notes. Odd for a Wit. 040112

33cl bottle @ home shared with Joes and Dutchdrebus. Hazy opaque pale yellow color, small dense white head that diminishes quickly and leaves a fair lacing. Smells like dish water or some kind of cleaning fluid, only normal thing it resembles to is citrus. Taste is weird as well, hard to describe. Dish-water with some citrus and coriander. Low body, low carbo.

Bottle thx to benzai. Hazy yellow colour with no head. Smells like dishwashing fluid, cleaning detergent.. Soapy. Tastes like it smells. Did the housekeeping departement brew this? Fizzy carbo, thin body.

Small white head, fine-bubbled, over fully hazy yellow-golden beer. Somewhat artificial, soapy lemon- and lemonpeel aroma, dash of unwanted coriander. Dishwashing liquid with "lemon". Short, but awful coriander flavour, dusty and tired wheatflour and again this dishwashing-like lemony flavour. Unlike lemonjenever, however. Light, mellow carbonation, refreshing if poured cold enough (...) Another low in an already dubious "style".

23/II/2012 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: 24/I/13 (2012-154)
Cloudy yellow beer, nice white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of chemical lemon, lemon candy, dish washing soap. MF: low carbon, light body. Taste: lots of artificial lemon, bit sweet, little bitter. Pretty bad. Aftertaste: soapy, more lemon flavour. Yuck. Dreadful. Drain-pour.

33cl bottle, used to be only available at the distillery, now available for resale in 4-pack. The reknown lemon liquor of Villée now in a beer.
