Etter et par innledende runder med fat-og boksøl er jeg nå i gang med å gå planken Drink Local (6x12cl) på Beerhouse on Long, Cape Town feb-20: klar gylden med ok skum. Lyse tropiske frukter og litt kokos i en slank kropp med mild, fruktig bitterhet. Neither here nor there.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, thanks brunnsbe, 20190602) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and spiciness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, malts, coconut, lightly sourness and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, malty and bitter. A surprising spicy brew that was quite tasty.

Thanks to TheCellarer for sharing a 330ml bottle. Firm, airy white head. Hazy amber-gold body. Fair lacing. Modest aroma of coconuts and dough. Coconut flavours joined by bread and a backdrop of fruity caramel. Mid-sweet ending. Soft in the mouth. Accepted.
